Well we finally broke ground today on our new house! We are very excited to see this move forward! The kids were mostly excited to see the "digger" there working. We know this will be quite the adventure. I wanted to take pics of the kids in the hole, but kts pretty deep lol! Well we will keep you posted on our progress, wish us luck! Here we go!!

Mothers day is a hard holiday for me. Yes, part of that is that i miss my mom something fierce, the other part is that my flaws seem to be underlined and illuminated that day in my mind. I think I need to refocus, and remember what Mothers Day really is and that for me is the celebration of my children. I am blessed to be their mother, even in my flaws. I am thankful for thier unconditional love and their sweet smiles everyday.

Well our baby just went back to get the tubes put in, she was scared but calm and cooperative (as she always is). I am very nervous. I am hopeing this will solve the constant ear infections and pain. She is such a sweet girl, my heart is with her. These pics are from the pre op room.

Catch a tiger by his toe!

Cute little Orion was with his friends playing at a bouncy house place this last thursday. As he was sliding down a jumpy slide he caught his pinky toe on his left foot. He cried and it was definably looking a little peculiar. He came home and Dustin examined it when I got a phone call at work. We ended up taking him in after hours to the Doctor to get it looked at and it was determined that he broke his cute little toe! POOR GUY! They wrapped it all up and made him a removable cast that he can take off to bathe etc. He has been pretty good about being careful with it and at the end of the week if he is walking on it and moving around we are in the clear. However, the dr mentioned that if he is still not movin around etc then it may need surgery! He looks pretty good today though and he is a tough little kid, hardly complains at all! I know I havent been very good about blogging lately. I have been struggling a bit with the new schedule. I am averaging about 25-30 hrs at work and that has been new and difficult for me. I love what I am doing but I am missing my kiddies something fierce. So thought it was time for a quick update from the Dibbles.

Orion is doing awesome and wants to be batman for Halloween. I let him try on his costume yesterday and he had a blast. I had a great day with him. He is becoming quite the talker and rested on the floor of the kitchen yesterday while I cleaned and made dinner, he was talking the whole time! I was surprised but I was totally soaking it all up, it was so fun to listen to what he was thinking about.

Aurora and doing well, she is now 2 and loves to do everything her brother does. She has been sick and is now getting over the cold she has had and is starting to be her funny cute self again. She loves to make us laugh and puts on a show every night.

Dustin is still working part time at KSL as a producer on the days I am home. Its a difficult schedule for us but its working for the time being. He has had quite a few good interviews lately so we will keep you posted there.

I am still working on my Doctorate and trying to get my hours to get licenced as an LPC in UT. I love what I am doing and I am learning a TON.

I will try and do better at keeping up on the blog!

So Gammy was very nice to get us this cute swimming pool for the kids to play with, they love it! They spent almost the whole day in it today with the water etc. I was gettin some video of it and this is what occurred... pretty funny.

Today when I woke up I was sandwiched between Aurora and Orion. I turned and tried to un-kink my back and my neck and then proceeded to interrogate Orion. The discussion went something like this:

Me: Orion, why didn’t you stay in your bed last night? I am so tired.
Ori: Well… there were no people in me bed. (he meant me and aurora)
Me: People?
Orion: ya no people in me bed, and I need people.
Me: why do you need people in your bed? (sigh)
Orion: Well because… that’s just how it goes Mommy.

Then we had a sweet conversation at church that went something like this:
Me: See in that picture it shows how Jesus loves the little children and the children love him too.
Orion: oh… where is Jesus lives?
Me: He lives in heaven (kinda caught off guard).
Orion: Where is that?
Me: its with Heavenly Father, he lives with Heavenly Father.
Orion: Oh… well… you take me there?

I just had to kiss him. He is such a sweet boy and I am so thankful for him.

Orion went to his best bud Isaac's birthday party this month and it was at classic skate where apparently they allow scooters and razors on the rink. Orion LOVED it but he hasnt had much experience on razor's etc. He thought it was so much fun and talked all about it for the next few days.

Halloween...

So we were Xmen for Halloween this year. Except for our cute little mouse Rora. I was Rouge, Dustin was Cyclops and Ori was Wolverine. He had tons of fun this year and really got it a little more then last year so that was fun to see.

It has been an eventful few weeks. Right as Micki had her baby Orion got the H1N1 virus and then Rora got it and soon we all had it. It was brutal. Aurora contracted a yucky ear infection that showed itself in the middle of the night on a Friday (of course) which they perscribed antibiotics for that ended up making her more sick, naseau etc. She lost some weight pretty quick. I think she was slightly allergic to it. Then we went in and they gave her an injected antibiotic and another oral prescription for something easier on her. She has been getting progressivly better each day, returning to the sweet happy baby she was. So I am hoping she gets feeling better soon poor girl. Ori is all better and Dustin is close. We had a great Halloween, we went to a party at Dustin's good friends house and that was really fun... though Aurora and I were a little tired and not super social (sorry guys) that night is when she ended up getting a really high fever from the ear infection it ended up being a really long night. She only slept about 10-20 min that night total. bleh NO MORE SICK BABIES.

I was watching a show called The Universe on the History channel while cleaning up when Ori walked in. Our conversation went like this:
Ori : ooo whats this show mom?
Me: its a show about space and planets.
Ori: oooo whats that?
Me: a big telescope.
Ori: whats a telescope?
Me: its something that lets us see way far into the sky and into space.
Ori: WOW thats pretty cool
Me: ya it is, maybe we should go to the planetarium where we can see stuff about space and planets. Would that be fun?
