Family time

We decided to go and have somed fun as a family this weekend so we went to the dinosaur museum on sat. It was a blast and orion loved it. He was way excited and kept grr'in and roar'in all day. He ran from thing to thing so we didn't get much time to read and learn ourselves but it was still fun to just be together. Aurora was fussy too, that always seems to happen when we want to do something fun. Lol. Thus is the life of parents right? Anyway here are some of our fun pics from the day.

Blessing/Farewell

We have had quite a crazy week this week. We were able to bless our sweet baby girl on Sunday, and we were lucky to be able to do it the same day as Steve gave his "farewell" talk. She was so precious in here white outfit, however I forgot to take pictures of her when she was happy in her dress (of course) and remembered just as I was going to changer her out of it to get ready for a nap. So, the only pictures I have of her in her dress that day have a very cranky baby in them lol.
I love her dress (Thanks Raquel and Carlos!) and it was the perfect size we were a little worried because she runs on the small side and it was the smallest they had. It worked out just great. She was dealing with a little baby acne but luckily it was clearing up on that day and she was so perfect looking. Dustin gave a wonderful blessing, he does so well and I love listening to him give blessings. He is very sweet and loving father to his new baby girl. We feel very blessed to have our two children here and well.

So far Aurora has been a perfect baby.
She hardly cries and is so easy, when she gets fussy it never really lasts very long (Unless we are in the car she hates the car). But otherwise, during the night when she wakes up she just eats gets changed and goes right back to sleep (I love it) she is that way most of the time. She has even slept through the night twice! Orion was never this good so I dont want to jinx it but I love having her around, she is a wonderful addition to our family.

We also wanted to thank our great bunch of family and friends who came. It is so wonderful to have you all in our lives we cant express the gratitude we feel, especially when we all get together like this. It always astonishes us to see how many people really care about us and our family and for that we are so thankful.

Real live missionary!

Today was so bitter sweet! The family got together to send Steve off! He was nervous but ready! He had a smile on and dazed eyes lol. What an amazing feeling to go and work so hard for something you believe in so much! I love him so much and will miss him just as much but I know he is where the Lord wants him, and for that I am thankful. He seemed excited to go somewhere to learn and teach.
He will be in the MTC for just r few weeks then he flys out I am going to make the blog private after this post so if you haven't already sent me an email please do or leave a comment with your email and I will give you access! Thanks again to all our family and friends for all you support!

Steves blog

Overdue halloween pics!

So we were the popeye clan Orion was popeye and Dustin was Bruno and I was Whimpy and Rora was Sweet Pea. I didnt put the pics of me in because I looked aweful lol - and the candy and treats arent helping any.
So here are a few of the pics we took. Orion was cute and at first didnt understand what was goin on, but it wasnt 3 houses before he caught on and was running to the next house. It was pretty cute and fun to be together. :)

Standby for Dibblazo

I've been meaning to do this for months and months, so it's time I did. I've posted a few times on this blog while Brandi was sick, but I always felt weird about it, because this blog is more like an online baby book for family and friends that are far away from Utah County Land. So I figured that now is the time. For the third time, I'm resurrecting my blog, so that I may have a forum to post my inane thoughts and stupid stories. And by announcing it here, everyone will now expect amazing insights and other internet detritus from my blog.

Sweetest things...

Orion LOVES his baby sister and he is so cute with her. He is constantly asking ot hold her and he is trying to play with her and feed her etc. It warms my heart to see how he is so sweet toward her, if she is crying he comes to her side and in a soft sweet little voice starts saying "baby, baby, sok baby" well either that or "Mom, Hello" lol, I love it. He also loves to share his cars with her and watch cars with her on his lap. This picture above is one that was so sweet I had to try and capture it. He collected every car he had (which is like 30-40 cars) and put them all around her saying "baby baby car" and then when he had collected them all he stopped and was just watching her. It was so sweet. I am really enjoying watching them grow.

Oh I also have Halloween pictures I just haven't had time to load them yet. I will do soon. :)
