Happy Halloween!

YAY I finally got another computer so now I can continue blogging. So, poor Dustin had a show on Halloween but Orion and I went out trick-or-treating together, while uncle steve hung out and handed out candy. We weren't gone long but it was fun to go - Ori didn't really understand what was going on lol but we had a good time visiting our friends.

Fun Dinner at Chili's...

We had a fun dinner at chili's a little while ago and I just found this picture to put on here, I thought it was a cute one, so here it is.

Who needs a gallbladder anyway?

So we had a crazy turn of events on Sunday in the wee hours of the night. Steve woke me and Dustin up complaining about a terrible stomach ache. He said he needed to go to the emergency room (totally not like steve to WANT to go to the Doctor, normally he only goes kicking and screaming) so we rushed him in to the E.R. The Doctor looked him over ran some tests and decided to hook him up to an IV with morphine. They kept him there all night then early Monday morning did an ultra sound where they discovered gal stones his blood tests showed a high white count (indicating infection). Then they rushed him into the OR to have his gallbladder removed - it was crazy how fast everything happened. He was in surgery by 11:50 that morning... finally he came out of surgery around 2:40 and then they put him in post op for an hour or so, then he went up to a room to recover a little longer and go through a round of antibiotics. He stayed and slept almost all day yesterday due to all the drugs in his system, then today he was feeling a little better. He was actually able to get up and walk around a little, I was so relieved. Now thankfully he is still in the hospital but I think he will be released tomorrow to come home and rest some more. Poor kid, crazy few days.

Hotel Safe

So I forgot to throw on a few videos and pictures of Orion playing in the hotel when we went on our anniversary stay to the Hilton. He found the hotel safe inside the closet and had the best time pushing the buttons. Goofball. Its so fun and amazing to watch his mind work.

Bath Time Fun

Well its time to catch up again. My computer actually bit the dust this week - so I have a new harddrive on the way and we have a few other computers but they are desktop's and in a whole other area of the house... where I am too lazy to go and update stuff lol. Anyway, here is a quick video of Ori playin in the bath.

Two sickies

We are the two sickies ... me and Orion have this awful cold this week! It has been pretty yucky. He is handling it pretty well though, I must say he is much easier to take care of when he has a cold now that he is older (it is easier to take care of myself too). So because of this we have had a busy week and I have had little time to update the blog, so I thought I would just post a little note about this week. Orion has learned to tell himself "no". We have a fire place in out family room and I have to remind him not to play with it fairly often. Most of the time he is pretty good about obeying, so last week he went over to the fire place and reached his hand out and then turned and put his index finger up, scowled and said "no"! Micki and I were on the couch talking and we both just started laughing, it was SO cute!

Happy Wedding Day!!

To my sweet and wonderful husband. It is our second wedding anniversery today! It has been an amazing first few years. I love you and hope all your dreams are comming true! :) We go to go stay in the Hilton together (with Ori of course haha) and we had a great time! We got dessert at the Olive Garden there next to the Hilton and just relaxed. It was perfect! Here is a wedding highlight clip (thanks again Justin we love it)!

I missed the picture I was trying to get... Ori was using ender as his pillow, by the time I got there he had slipped off, but it was so dang cute! They are such good friends.

More Videos

We made it..

Orion had his year doctors apt last week and he did great! I have such a hard time taking him in for shots. He had to get one this trip which isnt bad comparatively - but it was still hard to take him in. He was walking all over the room and playing around - he was great. Micki and Steve went with us to take him in so that was nice to have them to support us.

Happy Birthday pictures

Here are a few more pictures from Orions party. It was such a wonderful night. These are a few pictures of him opening his presents. He was way excited, and kept getting distracted by each toy that he opened it was so cute.

This is his cake lol - it was so funny he was actually very careful while eating at first- he just cautiously took a few bites without being messy - then towards the end he was really diggin into it. It was really fun - he went strait to the bath while everyone else ate icecream - he had chocolate in his arm pits even ha.

Dustin's Surprise

A few weeks ago I set up a surprise guys night for Dustin - He has been working so hard lately and I wanted him to get a night of fun. So I made a Tivo cake for him and his friends. He had no clue I was setting it up. His friends were awesome and kept it quite then they drove down for a night of Xbox and Sushi. It was fun to surprise him :)

Happy Birthday Orion!!

It was Orions first birthday on the 16th!! Wow what a year. We had an amazing party for him yesterday and it was so much fun! Thank you all for coming and sharing this special day with us. We felt so loved.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DUSTIN!!!

So today was my sweet husbands birthday! We spent the weekend in St. George with Gammy and Grandpa - Dustin came back on Sunday and me, Steve, Micki, and Orion came home today. We made in home just in time for Dustin to get home from work. Then Lisa was nice enough to watch Orion for the night so Dustin and I could spend some much needed time together. We went to a great Japanese restaurant near our house and had Sushi and yummy food. Then came home and relaxed all together. I hope you are happy and had a wonderful birthday honey. You are a wonderful husband and father. I love you and I am so thankful the Lord sent you to me ;)

Yucky cold..

Poor Ori has had a really bad cold this week. He has been so lethargic and cuddly. He normally is moving so fast you cant catch him - so this is rare. This is him resting on his best bud - Uncle Steve. He has had a horrible fever - but I think we are on the up and up. ;)

Orion Loves Suckers (but really who doesnt?)

So Orion has always HATED riding in the car. Recently we found that if he has a sucker or something to eat while we ride he is much better. Wednesday we went up to Park City to see our friends at the Dental Office - on the way home he was so tired and pretty grumpy. He doesn't usually fall asleep in the car but we gave him a sucker on the way back and this is how he ended up - haha it was so funny to watch him in the rear view mirror as he started to drift with the sucker in his mouth - he would wake up suck on it for a few seconds and then fall back to sleep - it was pretty funny so Steve snapped a pic with my phone.

We went to a wedding last week and this is Orion riding in the stroller on the temple grounds it was just so cute with Daddy's sunglasses that we took some more pics. He is getting so big.

Orions FIRST STEPS!!

I cant believe it but Orion took his first steps and we caught it on video!! YAY!! We just wanted to get a little video of him standing by himself (which he has been doing for a while) and then he actually tried to take a few steps! I was SO excited! The video is a little dark and I am in the process of rotating it but I dont have time to do it tonight so here it is anyway. Also the sound is not on - Dustin forgot to turn it on so its mute and not your computer. :)

Bee's Game

Dad and Lisa took us to the Bee's game yesterday for the 24th! It was so fun! It was a great game and Orion liked it - however at the end he started to get really tired. They had fireworks right after the game (which were awesome) and he was so tired that he fell asleep DURING (yes during) the fireworks! It was crazy - it was so loud and he just went right to sleep ha.

9 month old fam pics

These pictures were taken when Ori turned 9 months - but it has taken me a long time to get them scanned, and now here he is 11 months old already - wow time goes so fast! Anyway these are printable for our family members who would like one - just click on the image and save it or print it. :) The lady who took our picture was wonderful with Ori normally it takes him a long time to warm up but she just started taking pics and talking to him and it was so cute. He did great.

Micki's finally home pics!

I know it took me forever to get these on - but these are from the day Micki got home. Lisa and Mike made that cute banner for her graduation stuff. We were so excited to have her home now.
After Micki got home we went to our fav place to eat.

My Cool Dude

So Orion is now getting to the stage where he will actually let us put things on his head without freaking out! Its fun, he is starting to leave his hats, glasses etc. on and they all look so cute. We went up to Grandma Janae's house today for Grandma Margos birthday party. It was really fun to see everyone again, we dont go up nearly enough.
This is Oris little cousin Grace, he was havin a good time playing with her, and she was doing a great job helping take care of Ori :) She is so cute!
Here they are in Grandma Jans lap, huggin - it was so cute because Grace kept kissing and hugging Ori (he loved it) if there is one thing he loves its kisses.

When we came home from church I had to take a few pics of Orion in his suit - They turned out so cute I had to get them on here. They are so sweet - they make a mother fall to mush. haha.

Please dont pay attention to our yucky wall paper, we havent made it to this room yet for remodeling - all in due time. :)

Silly String

Micki finally came home on the 2nd! We are so excited to have her home - I have more pictures of her homecoming to get on here but here are some for now. We threw her a graduation party with water balloons and silly string (at her request) it was a blast as you can see! We had food and fun! We are so happy your home Micki!! What a wonderful accomplishment - Doesn't it feel great!? ;)
