The Call...

The call finally came last Thursday for Steve. I have to say it was pretty surreal. When the big envelop arrived it said to Elder Steven Jon Radulovich it was pretty amazing. We were all so nervous to see where he would be spending the next two years! I had Micki record the calling at the bottom to put on here for memory sake. He is such a great person and I am so proud of him to be making this decision and going through with it even though he is pretty much petrified.

This is about 4 minutes because we are dumb and didnt find the actual call letter for a minute lol. So if you would rather not wait I will put the rest of the information at the bottom of this post. The others in the video are our new step brother and sisters Joe, Susie (her husband Ander) and Katie, then me and Mic. Way to go Steve - I am going to miss you like CRAZY!!!

The call was to Raleigh North Carolina and he leaves November 19th - We are happy to finally know where he is going and he has started to research the area. He actually already knows a few people there. So let us know if you know anyone who has gone there or is going there. Thanks.

Baby Aurora - 31 weeks!

Ok so here is our last ultra sound from about 3 weeks ago! This is baby Aurora - again. She is getting a lot bigger and everything looks great. I know these are a little hard to see and I scanned them a little crooked, but in the pic below her head is on the right and she is facing the front. You can see both her eyes and her nose and mouth. Its funny and I know this sounds crazy but she looks like Orion to me already - I think its the bone structure they have the same shape head and cheeks. Only time will tell. I am getting more and more excited with everyday that passes. My fears are starting to subside and the thought of having a new precious gift is coming more into view.
This is one of the 3d images they take now - with Orion we were never able to get a really good one because his hands were always right in front of his face - she is kinda the same way. This is the best one I think they are a little weird to look at and kinda scary looking sometimes lol but its fun to imagine what they may look like. Again she seems to have the same cheeks as Ori.

Its so crazy because I have done this before, the whole have a baby thing lol, but this feels like the first time again. I am nervous and excited and its so fun to see/feel her moving and though I am not the most comfortable and easy to be with person right now I feel like a new Mommy again. As for Orion - he is getting so big and saying more words. He still doesn't talk a ton... well of English that is... he has his own language and I am learning it lol. I always say he speaks Klingon and is bilingual :) We watched our neighbors new born for a little while about a week ago, her name is Baby Jill (at least thats what we call her) and Orion truly surprised me. The whole time she was here he sat on the couch next to me and looked at her eyes, nose, hair, mouth, fingers, toes he was amazed by her and really wanted to hold her. So I let him hold her for a second and then she got a little fussy so I started walking around with her, he followed me everywhere and kept saying "Mom" and motioning for me to give her to him. He just knew he could fix it and wanted her back. Lol what a little Mr. Mom, I was relieved to see he wasn't jealous at all, he just wanted to take over and take care of her. He cried when they took her back home. Lol what a fun memory for me, I have been so worried and that helped so much. I know he wont be like that the whole time with Aurora but it still helped me calm down a bit.

Micki's Mad Hatter Shower!

Happy wedding day Micki! So my sister is getting married in September and I am really excited for her and Seth. You two are great for each other and we love you both! I threw Micki a shower with a Alice in Wonderland Mad Hatter Tea Party theme. It was a blast and we had a great turn out! Thank you to everyone for coming on such short notice! We were so happy that Gammy and Monica could come and thanks to Lori and the girls for makin the drive all the way down for the party! (Thanks for all your hard work doin dishes too Court!) Here are a few pics my brother was nice enough to take real quick at the party.

This is my first Towel cake! I had so much fun doing it. It is two bath towels on the bottom then two hand towels then two wash cloths! It was way fun and I think it turned out pretty cute! lol. A little lop sided in this picture but at least it fits in with the mad hatter theme ha.

Yes he pwn's n00bs...

He is a total gamer ... I am in BIG trouble lol. I was doing some editing/wedding stuff on Dustins computer (which is kitty corner to Steves computer) and so I decided to put him here for a second. He knew exactly what to do with the headphones and the mouse but he is actually playing Elmo's keyboard-o-rama. It was just too dang cute to pass up and not catch!

Our 4th of July holiday...

I know I am way late to be posting these lol but it seems like things are busier then ever lately. So, I thought I would get these on. Of course I didnt have my camera ...but I did have my phone!

Orion loved the sparklers and all the fireworks. He would make me put my hands on his ears for some of them though but he reacted much better then I anticipated. For some reason I thought they might scare him, but I was wrong he had a ball.

These are some pics taken earlier that day while we were waiting for family to come over for fireworks, so my two boys decided to do some snakes and poppers while we waited. I kept looking out front and this was view I had ... so cute!

More fun in the sun...

Here is another one of those incredible fun toys our neighbors pulled out. The two boys were a little scared of this one - it was kinda high and fast with the water on it and they couldn't really climb up on their own. They still had a blast though, Orion loved it and get lots of exercise. I sure am enjoying this summer, YES its HOT and YES our air conditioning is running non stop it seems like, and YES I feel like a beached whale BUT Orion is having so much fun playing everyday out in the sun, he is so fun to watch with all his water toys. He and his buddy next door Issac have so much fun runnin around. I will really miss the sun when the yucky weather comes again it does something to me - I always say I am solar powered, I feel so much better when it is sunny. Dont mind the prego women out in the front yard with her jammies on lol.
Ori gettin ready to rock and roll - he was way excited.

ok he is drinking the water in the pic above. No matter what I do he drinks the water wherever he is - bath, pool etc. I have to watch him so closely and sometimes I just throw my hands up and say whatever dude. (I think its partially fun because mommy freaks out, ya know).
Cheesy smile.

The New Car

Since we sold the Montero Sport, it was time for the Dibble family to buy a new car. We had been looking and dreaming for a while now, and this is one of the only cars we could agree on. So last Tuesday we went and bought a 2007 Dodge Caliber. When Brandi first mentioned that she liked the Caliber, I said: "There's no way that I am buying an American built car, let alone a Dodge" However, after 2 test drives and much internet research, I decided that it was reliable enough. Plus we have almost doubled my MPG. Our monthly payment is more, but our insurance and gas costs are much less. It looks just like the one in the photo.

I get some looks when I tell people that we bought it from Dollar Rent-A-Car. I know, I know all about it. Jeff Foxworthy said: " Buying a car from a rental company is like going to a house of ill-repute to look for a wife--If something has been driven that hard, by that many people, you really don't wanna be sticking your key in it." However, what most people don't realize is that dealerships buy cars from rental companies every day. The day we were there, LHM bought 7 cars. When we picked up the car, Dollar had sold 3 more Calibers to other dealerships, and I'm sure they'll be marked up pretty heavily. So your used car has at least a fair chance of having been a rental in a former life. Anyway, we are really happy with it so far, and it's fun to drive.

I am totally in love...

So... its true... I am a little bias when it comes to this face. Regardless I am totally in love with this boy!! What a sweet blessing it is to have such a wonderful son. His birthday is coming up and I cant believe it has been 2 years already since we met for the first time. Since we are expecting now... it brings the reality of how fast they grow up seem so true. Its so amazing how quickly everything changes and how incredible it is to be a Mother. Ok ... I'm done gushing but this pic is truly special to me I really think it brings out his true personality. What can I say I am a proud Mom lol.

Yes, in the picture below he and Ender are sharing his goldfish crackers lol, they are seriously joined at the hip - he and his buddy do everything together. Ender sleeps on the floor wherever it is Ori is napping at the time, and he follows him everywhere. Ender is a great nanny and takes a lot of abuse from Ori (but he loves every second I promise lol).

A Tearful (Sort of) Goodbye

Well, the time has finally come. We appear to have sold the montero. The guy is coming from Fillmore to pick it up tomorrow. He has given it a test drive, he has a loan, and he's ready to go. It's very bittersweet for me. Since I was a kid, I had wanted a big, black, powerful SUV in which I could take on the elements. I would take my friends snowboarding, go camping, or even pull some wave runners. I was way stoked when I bought it. This was the first car that I bought all by myself, with no help from my parents or anyone else. It worked well during my days at PCTV, and I have loved owning it. But as my life has changed, so have our needs as a family. I went snowboarding one time last year. I haven't been camping or wakeboarding in longer. I no longer work up the canyon, and gas prices....well, you know. And if I am being objective, I must say that the montero sport only gets about 17 mpg, and we've had to dump a TON of money into it to keep it running this year (183,000 miles!) So Brandi has finally convinced me to adapt, for our finances sake. I'll miss you, montero, except when I have to fill up. And when we have to fix you every week. And when....

spoiled? Nah...

So Orion's best buddy Isaac (lives next door) has some cool cousins who own a bouncy house. They decided to bring it buy and man what an exciting time, this big huge bouncy house for two small boys.
all the neighbors would drive by and slow down it was pretty funny to watch and the boys went crazy over it. Orion slept great that night haha!

We love St. George!

We finally got a little time to go down to St. George and visit my Gammy and Grandpa - we sure have fun when we go down there. The weather was beautiful and perfect for playing outside in the water (as you can see lol). Dustin and I LOVE to golf and I am really starting to like it more then I ever thought I would. However it is a little difficult now that I am so prego (throws off my center and swing ha). While we were there we got to go three times, and while we were gone this was Ori's entertainment. Because we live in a Condo he doesnt really have a place to play in the hose - but he sure loved it down there. Everyday he was outside most of the day playin in the water and with golf balls etc.

These pics were taken with my phone ( I always forget the camera) so they are a little fuzzy but still fun. He is watching TV with the dogs.

We sure love our time and visits there. Thanks Gammy and Grandpa for being so great! We always look forward to coming again and it is so nice to talk and spend time with you both! We love you.
