Happy Birthday pictures

Here are a few more pictures from Orions party. It was such a wonderful night. These are a few pictures of him opening his presents. He was way excited, and kept getting distracted by each toy that he opened it was so cute.

This is his cake lol - it was so funny he was actually very careful while eating at first- he just cautiously took a few bites without being messy - then towards the end he was really diggin into it. It was really fun - he went strait to the bath while everyone else ate icecream - he had chocolate in his arm pits even ha.

Dustin's Surprise

A few weeks ago I set up a surprise guys night for Dustin - He has been working so hard lately and I wanted him to get a night of fun. So I made a Tivo cake for him and his friends. He had no clue I was setting it up. His friends were awesome and kept it quite then they drove down for a night of Xbox and Sushi. It was fun to surprise him :)

Happy Birthday Orion!!

It was Orions first birthday on the 16th!! Wow what a year. We had an amazing party for him yesterday and it was so much fun! Thank you all for coming and sharing this special day with us. We felt so loved.
I made a video and here it is but the quality was lost in the conversion - but you can still view it. Remember push play twice - its wierd I know.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DUSTIN!!!

So today was my sweet husbands birthday! We spent the weekend in St. George with Gammy and Grandpa - Dustin came back on Sunday and me, Steve, Micki, and Orion came home today. We made in home just in time for Dustin to get home from work. Then Lisa was nice enough to watch Orion for the night so Dustin and I could spend some much needed time together. We went to a great Japanese restaurant near our house and had Sushi and yummy food. Then came home and relaxed all together. I hope you are happy and had a wonderful birthday honey. You are a wonderful husband and father. I love you and I am so thankful the Lord sent you to me ;)

Yucky cold..

Poor Ori has had a really bad cold this week. He has been so lethargic and cuddly. He normally is moving so fast you cant catch him - so this is rare. This is him resting on his best bud - Uncle Steve. He has had a horrible fever - but I think we are on the up and up. ;)

Orion Loves Suckers (but really who doesnt?)

So Orion has always HATED riding in the car. Recently we found that if he has a sucker or something to eat while we ride he is much better. Wednesday we went up to Park City to see our friends at the Dental Office - on the way home he was so tired and pretty grumpy. He doesn't usually fall asleep in the car but we gave him a sucker on the way back and this is how he ended up - haha it was so funny to watch him in the rear view mirror as he started to drift with the sucker in his mouth - he would wake up suck on it for a few seconds and then fall back to sleep - it was pretty funny so Steve snapped a pic with my phone.

We went to a wedding last week and this is Orion riding in the stroller on the temple grounds it was just so cute with Daddy's sunglasses that we took some more pics. He is getting so big.

Orions FIRST STEPS!!

I cant believe it but Orion took his first steps and we caught it on video!! YAY!! We just wanted to get a little video of him standing by himself (which he has been doing for a while) and then he actually tried to take a few steps! I was SO excited! The video is a little dark and I am in the process of rotating it but I dont have time to do it tonight so here it is anyway. Also the sound is not on - Dustin forgot to turn it on so its mute and not your computer. :)

Bee's Game

Dad and Lisa took us to the Bee's game yesterday for the 24th! It was so fun! It was a great game and Orion liked it - however at the end he started to get really tired. They had fireworks right after the game (which were awesome) and he was so tired that he fell asleep DURING (yes during) the fireworks! It was crazy - it was so loud and he just went right to sleep ha.

9 month old fam pics

These pictures were taken when Ori turned 9 months - but it has taken me a long time to get them scanned, and now here he is 11 months old already - wow time goes so fast! Anyway these are printable for our family members who would like one - just click on the image and save it or print it. :) The lady who took our picture was wonderful with Ori normally it takes him a long time to warm up but she just started taking pics and talking to him and it was so cute. He did great.

Micki's finally home pics!

I know it took me forever to get these on - but these are from the day Micki got home. Lisa and Mike made that cute banner for her graduation stuff. We were so excited to have her home now.
After Micki got home we went to our fav place to eat.

I know Steve looks grumpy - but he is a happy person - I promise! lol I cant ever get him to smile for pics - ugh.

My Cool Dude

So Orion is now getting to the stage where he will actually let us put things on his head without freaking out! Its fun, he is starting to leave his hats, glasses etc. on and they all look so cute. We went up to Grandma Janae's house today for Grandma Margos birthday party. It was really fun to see everyone again, we dont go up nearly enough.
This is Oris little cousin Grace, he was havin a good time playing with her, and she was doing a great job helping take care of Ori :) She is so cute!
Here they are in Grandma Jans lap, huggin - it was so cute because Grace kept kissing and hugging Ori (he loved it) if there is one thing he loves its kisses.

When we came home from church I had to take a few pics of Orion in his suit - They turned out so cute I had to get them on here. They are so sweet - they make a mother fall to mush. haha.

Please dont pay attention to our yucky wall paper, we havent made it to this room yet for remodeling - all in due time. :)

Silly String

Micki finally came home on the 2nd! We are so excited to have her home - I have more pictures of her homecoming to get on here but here are some for now. We threw her a graduation party with water balloons and silly string (at her request) it was a blast as you can see! We had food and fun! We are so happy your home Micki!! What a wonderful accomplishment - Doesn't it feel great!? ;)

Karen and Gavin

Karen and Gavin came over yesterday to play and go swimmin! We had a great time. Orion was really excited to see Gavin again, he kept trying to talk to him and play (thought he wasnt really sure how). Karen and I had a great time catching up - We dont get to see each other as much as we would like. It sure was a great day!

These are pretty funny pics, I am not as good at this as Kristen - I always forget my camera! lol! So, I just snapped some quick ones when we got back from swimmin and the boys were tired. :) Such a big boy! According to the doctor he is only in the 20th percentile in growth this last time we went in - but he sure seems big to me. Its amazing how much he is starting to just look more like a toddler then a baby. Its going by so fast. :)

Mr. Great MC!!

Orion found our headphones today and it was so cute - he was jumpin and giggling. I was surprised he left them on! Usually he wont let us put anything on his head - ha. He has been really funny today happy and silly!

Fun with Amanda and Merrik

So yesterday Amanda and her son Merrik came up to visit us. It was so fun to see them! Orion had a blast playing with Merrik - he was so excited to have someone to play with that he kept practially running poor Merrik over, lol. We had fun catching up - we need to get together again Manda lynn :)

He is his Mothers son...

So, anyone who knows me knows that I tend to fall asleep with my eyes open. Yes, I know weird... and now I have passed this crazy trait onto my son. Here is a quick pic of him asleep today, this is just a little bit of what we are capable of. I remember when I was living with Julie she had like a whole conversation with me once and I was totally asleep lol. I am so weird.
Gammy bought Ori this cute little shreck toy, while we were down visiting for a few days, I was really bad and didnt take many pics, but here he is on their floor playin. He really likes his new toy, he has been rollin around with it on the floor the last few days. :)
