Kangaroo Zoo

Our neighbor and Oris best buddy took us to a great place, the Kangaroo Zoo this week! It was so mjuch fun and way worth the 5 bucks to have a tired toddler ready for a nap. He had so much fun! Who wouldnt really?
He actually climbed this last huge slide and loved it lol.

Fun around the house...

Its been so cold lately that its been hard to find things to do around the house to entertain Ori. He has been brining me the camera (if he can get to it some how) saying "Mom, this, cheese" and making his cheesey face, displayed below.

Pay no attention to the sleepy unkempt mommy, but to the cute boy on the right.

We decided to decorate the window as a fun holloween activity to do from inside. I found these great markers to draw on windows with. He loved it, as you can see his picture is below the words. Way fun and cute!

Happy Holloween!

Nightly ritual

As I said before, Ori plays with cars and trains in our living room every day, he plays so often one of our couches is pretty much designated to him for his playing. Its his favorite thing to do (besides watch cars) anyway, every night before bed he has to park EVERY car and train in its place before we go up for bath time. Sometimes they are in order of biggest to smallest, sometimes its in order by color and type etc. This particular night each bunch of cars had a different parking space somewhere in the room. I will always remember this about him but I wanted a photo or two to go along with the memory.

The NEW way to play trains!

I came into the room last week and found Orion playing trains in this outfit. I thought it was so cute that I had to take a few pics. He loves to play cars and trains in our living room everyday and night it will amuse him for the longest time.

I love these memories.
Our little Aurora makes the most funny noises, she grunts all the time. In this video below she was asleep in Dustins arms and making the most funny grunting noises so I caught in on video. She makes these noises in almost any every situation its really funny.

First glamour shots...

I am not very good at this stuff, but I really wanted to get some cute pictures of her before she gets any bigger. I keep thinking of getting some professional pics taken, but it gets put off, and put off, and pretty soon she will be two! You do what you can, right?

Two Week Visit...

I took Aurora in for her two week Dr. apt on Monday. She is looking good and is 7lbs. Yay. She is growing so fast its crazy. One thing that has us a bit concerned is that her belly button is not fully closing up from where the cord has fallen off. The Dr. cauterized it on Monday when we were there but then on wed. we woke up and it was bleeding a bit again. So I took her in on wed to have him do it again. He did and he told me to look for any clear fluid that might be coming from that area. Well this morning we woke up and there is some clear fluid (scary) so I called the nurse and the Dr wants us to take her to primary children's to be looked at (ugh) I am pretty worried so I am hoping it all clears up before her apt. Anyway I will keep you updated but we will see what happens in the mean time. This is a flower head band that I made while I was on bed rest. I love it and think it is way cute, Dustin thinks its pretty huge compared to her head lol but I like it so I had to get some pics of how cute she looked wearing it. :)

October fun...

This month we have really been trying to enjoy what is left of nice weather. I got some paints for Orion his buddy next door. They seemed to really love it. Its the first time Ori has even painted so I was excited and snapped a few pictures.

Masterpiece? For sure! I think I should frame them and sell them in NYC for thousands.
My sweet painter.

random pictures of the week...

I took this picture of Aurora this last week because she is completely zonked but her foot is up by her belly button like that. I have a bunch of ultra sound pics that show her feet by her face its cute how some of those traits pass on to after birth behavior.
This picture reminds me so much of Dustin. Her hair is just like his and her complexion and is like his as well. She is doing so well, but I do think we might be getting signs of colic showing up little by little. Orion had it for so long when he was young, I am hoping she will be able to do without going through it.
My computer has a slide show thing that I use as my screen saver, Orion loves to sit and watch the show all the time, its so cute to hear him naming off the people in each picture.

Orions first ice cream cone he ate all by himself. I know I am a little late at letting him try this all alone, but we finally did and he loved it of course. we gave it to him in the car after his nap and it was so cute to look back and see ice cream all over his face, he did great. What a sweety.
