We are all in love...

I am so happy to have this sweet new spirit here with us. It is nice to not be pregnant anymore too lol. This experience was night and day compared to Orions post delivery experience. She is perfect, no complications it was fast and smooth and I loved spending that time in the hospital bonding with our new baby girl.
The proud big brother. Orion is doing well, he spent two nights with Granny Janny while we were in the hospital. He has never been a night without us so I was a little worried about granny getting sleep. She said he did great though and he loves being with her and the fam so he was excited to play. He has had a rough few night adjusting to a new baby (we all have) but he is doing much better, and he loves her and kisses her all the time. I think it was just a lot of change all at once. Last night he slept the whole night and I am hoping we are through the rough patch.
Daddy is doing pretty good, he feels sleep deprived though. Aurora is a daddy's girl though she hears him or if he holds her she gets way calm and chill as you can see in the pic. Right after she was born and they were cleaning her off etc she was screaming of course until she heard his voice then she turned to see him.
I was pretty tired at this point in all the pics, it was fast but my epidural wore off and she was facing the wrong direction (like Orion) so Raquel had to turn her with every push, not pleasant. I about passed out, but as I started to black out she turned the rest of the way on her own and came out fast. That was a relief.

I am so thankful for her and I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful family. Thank you to everyone for all your support and help.

She's Finally Here!

Aurora Tari Kathryn Dibble was born on sat. September 20th at 8:23 PM We've been up in Perry at Carlos and Raquel's house since Thursday, playing the waiting game. Brandi was at 4 cm for a couple days, but on Saturday she started to progress quickly. We checked into the hospital at 5:30 pm, and she soon dilated the rest of the way. Carlos says she was the poster child for natural child birth, as she was at 7 cm, and she was still laughing and not in too much pain. We got an epidural in her and soon she was ready to push. After 13 minutes of hard pushing, we had our baby! I'll be off from work for the next week, and am looking forward to spending some time with my growing family.

Aurora update

I am going in again for another visit tomorrow, so I decided I better get these on now lol - these are from our last apt. a little over a week ago. She looks great and they estimate she is a little over 6 lbs now. She is very very active, a is in the right position now, which I am very relieved to hear.
Again these are the 3d pics they can do with the ultra sound she has never been this cooperative with the 3d and you can actually make out her face pretty well. She looks like she has Orion's bone structure already to me :)
I am feeling pretty good, I am now able to get movin a little more and they will take me off the meds tomorrow or wed. I am still having pretty steady contractions about every 5-7 min and we will see tomorrow if I have progressed any further. So at this point it is any minute. Phew I am glad we made it this far :) Thank you for all your prayers.

First real haircut!

Ok, so Ori has never had a real haircut, and since I have been on bed rest it really has grown a lot and was in need of a serious trim. I really didnt want to get his hair cut because I loved his blond curls - but Dustin was pretty strongly suggesting that it needed to be done. So today we decided to go and get it clipped. I cant tell you how awesome he was when we got there, he sat patiently and waited his turn, then the whole time he was so still and didnt make a peep! Until the end when he was offered a sucker of course. I was so proud of him everyone made over how good and calm he was. I feel so lucky to have him, I miss being with him as much since I have been on bedrest. I really enjoy spending time with him. I will be happy to have Aurora here and start recovering so I can be with him more, I feel like I have missed an entire year! Anyway, here are some pics of how it all went down today. This is his cheesy smile when he was all done and enjoying his sucker - what a pose!

He looks so grown up - oh man time goes too fast.

Yay! Seth and Micki!

My cute sister was married on Friday at the Mt. Timpanogos Temple to Seth! We were all so excited for them and it turned out so nice. She looked beautiful and he looked happy and handsome. I was actually allowed to go to the sealing ceremony, which I was so so so happy for. It was so nice to be there with the rest of our family all together. I was really scared I wasnt going to be able to go, but I havent changed or progressed really so they let me go!

No pictures from that day yet but I will post some as soon as I get some. I just wanted to say congrats to the happy couple and I love you both! Welcome to our crazy fam Seth!
As for me, I am still on Bed rest for a few more days anyway. Contractions are still commin strong but apparently the meds are working to make them ineffective. Wed is my 36th week mark, so here we go for a few more days - its crazy because it close now but it still seems SO far away lol. :0
